   I’m afraid you are mistaken. According to the interwebs its pronunciation rhymes with the spice ‘sage’:

   Perhaps you are confusing ‘mage’ with the Hungarian village of Majs.

   Yes, but that was the point of the joke. 🙂

   At the end, the pronunciations of Rogue, Rage, and “Wrath of the Lich King” are all wrong too, indicating that all the pronunciations are wrong.
